For Luka
Lukie Lu
A poem for you
my daughter sweet,
Because I think
you're really neat.
Your bouncing curls
and dancing steps,
Bring smiles of glee
to all you've met.
You're sweet as punch
and quick as a whip,
From your twinkly toes
to your pouting lip.
We dance, we run,
we laugh, we cry.
I love you daughter.
I'm glad you're mine!
My Clay Clay
My Clay Clay
Clay, your smile seems to have a way,
To brighten up the darkest day.
You give me hugs and kisses too;
Unsolicited, the whole day through.
Your thoughtful eyes and impish grin,
Could charm the angriest of women.
You're sweet, caring and funny too.
You love the ladies and the ladies love you.
Your energy seems to have no bounds.
You share all you have with those around.
You promise me you'll never leave,
And my Clay, I want to believe!
To Tucker
TERRIFIC TUCKER
My handsome Tucker,
I admire you so!
I'm always amazed,
As I watch you grow.
Your tender heart
And powerful spirit,
Bless the lives
Of all who are near it.
You have potential
Like no-one has seen.
I trully believe
You can do anything!
You're my reading buddy-
My thoughtful friend.
I love you Tucker!,
Beyond the end!
